Spring is just around the corner and with several Bank Holidays upon us, we may be out and about a little more in our cars.

Make sure you have a safe journey, whether it be a holiday or just a day trip.

If you are planning a long journey, it is a good idea to have your car serviced a couple of weeks before you are due to go.

Checking oil and water, tyres and windscreen wash and wipers can help prevent any problems which may interrupt your day. The engine cooling system may need checking and topping up, particularly preparing for warmer weather or  heavier traffic.

Check the condition of your tyres including the spare. Make sure your breakdown cover is valid.
