Easter holidays are just around the corner. Daffodils are blooming and it is starting to feel a little warmer as spring approaches. The children will be off school (again!!) and many motorists take to the road to enjoy the holiday period.

Whether driving in the UK or further afield, here are some top tips to help ensure a safe and comfortable journey.

Plan your journey to avoid getting lost or stuck in traffic jams.

Take plenty of water and refreshments. Stop for breaks frequently. Plan your stops in advance if possible. Driving when tired can be dangerous.

If you are travelling with children, take some games or ipads.

 

Simple car checks before you go.

Wipers, lights, washer fluid level.

Check oil and coolant levels, check tyres for signs of wear.
